MI7 adds former U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Innovation Fellow, Zac Jiwa as CEO

AUSTIN, TX - MI7, the Austin-based medical intelligence services company, announced today that Zac Jiwa, former Innovation Fellow of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has joined the company as its CEO after having been an advisor to the company since its inception.

Mr. Jiwa is a healthcare technology veteran with over 15 years of experience. He started at an electronic medical record software company where he found his passion for improving healthcare through the use of information technology.

Prior to joining MI7, Zac was the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Leverage Health Solutions, Chief Technology Officer at the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, Business Development Manager for the Health Solutions Group at Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), Chairman of the Industry Advisory Board at the National Science Foundation - Center for Visual and Decision Informatics, and President of the Austin HIMSS Chapter.
